*O u r l o c a t i o n* Initially, we wanted to fund an independent theater, to be able to express our artistic ambitions. But where shall we find an accessible location? We look for a place where our idea could come to life. We found this place in Buftea, near Bucharest. This is a town with tradition in cinematography, where many actors, directors, art directors, operators or other persons in the film world, came and went. We were going to contribute to the cultural theatrical connections. Up to the moment of having begun the activity, there was no theatre in Ilfov County, which was another reason to come here. The rehearsals began, the first performances. The audience, mostly the young people, of this little town, didn’t used to participate regularly to artistic events. We tried to set up this custom, proving for a long period of time, promotional performances free for the audience. We assumed the educative role as theatre is the most favorable way to get to public. The direct contact between actor and audience can offer answers to problems and restlessness, can awake sleepy and unknown seeds of the soul, can plant and develop the human qualities.
